Collection: Island Willow

Island Willow create beautifully handwoven products from over 20 varieties of organic willow, grown in South East Wexford.

Trained with a member of the Irish Professional Basket Makers, these 2 willow growers and basket weavers harvest their willow entirely by hand, using secateurs and sorts the rods manually, depending on the colour, shape and size. The catkins that flower on willow in February and March are a beautiful early food source for bees.
