To repair something (anything) in the modern world is a defiant act, which flies in the face of consumerism and what it stands for. The Art of Repair offers an antidote to our increasingly disposable lifestyle by encouraging us to contemplate the positive and powerful effects we can gain from preserving the broken, and ultimately to reconnect with ourselves and the world we live in.
